Brown Memorial

Commissioned as a cemetery memorial, the design is my interpretation of a Phoenix. The client wanted the rising bird to look more like an eagle, which is how he thought of his father. The small bird under the larger bird’s wing is carved to look like his mother’s favorite bird. A birdbath incorporated into the design collects rainwater and attracts real birds, as well.
